| | | Reading Tip By Ms. Sasha |  | Hello families! Did you know that there is more to reading than just
words? If you have young children or older children who struggle with
reading, you can look at the pictures and talk about them together.
Young children can look at the pictures and “read” by telling you what
is happening in them. Older children can do the same thing, especially
if there is a younger one to do it for. If your child prefers writing,
ask them to write the story that they think goes with the pictures. To
extend this even more, read the story and see how close the child’s
stories match the actual words in the book.
